About Patricia A. McLendon

Founder of Wittles Worth Innovative Education

Patricia A. McLendon is a passionate educator, creator, and innovator dedicated to helping children learn with confidence. As the founder of Wittles Worth Innovative Education, she has spent over two decades developing creative teaching methods that make foundational concepts easier for young learners to understand.

Her journey began at home—as a homeschooling parent teaching her three children. When she noticed they were struggling with concepts like number relationships, measurements, and especially telling time, she set out to find a better way. When no simple solution existed, she created one.

From Inspiration to Innovation

The idea for Wittles Worth was born from a powerful and meaningful dream—one that carried a message of value, confidence, and purpose. That message became the heart behind Patricia’s work: every child, no matter their challenges, is capable and worthy of understanding.

Driven by that belief, she began designing hands-on educational tools that would break down complex ideas into clear, manageable steps. What started as a personal solution quickly evolved into a structured system that has helped children better grasp concepts like analog time, number association, and daily time awareness.

A Mission to Simplify Learning

Throughout her experience as both a homeschooling parent and substitute teacher, Patricia recognized a growing challenge—many children were struggling to read analog clocks and understand how time works in everyday life.

Her response was to create a teaching method that is simple, visual, and easy to follow. The Wittles Worth approach breaks time into meaningful segments, helping children understand not just how to tell time, but what time actually represents in their daily routines.

Her tools are designed to:

  • Build confidence step-by-step
  • Strengthen number and math comprehension
  • Make learning interactive and enjoyable
  • Support both classroom and at-home education

Impact in Education

Over the years, Patricia has collaborated with educators, tested her methods in real learning environments, and connected with hundreds of teachers and parents. Through this process, she identified a clear gap in how analog time is traditionally taught—and built a solution to fill it.

Her work has been recognized for its simplicity, creativity, and effectiveness, helping children grasp concepts that once felt confusing or overwhelming.

A Personal Mission That Became a Movement

At its core, Wittles Worth is more than a teaching tool—it’s a mission rooted in encouragement, creativity, and belief in every child’s potential. What began as a way to help her own children has grown into a resource used by families and educators seeking a better way to teach and learn.

Patricia continues to inspire others through her work, empowering both children and adults with tools that make learning meaningful, accessible, and lasting.
